Home Beach West and Middle

Expansive and open, Home Beach is edged by paperbark trees and offers a laid-back stretch of coastline that feels both welcoming and beautifully untouched.

Pub Cove  

Tucked between Cylinder and Home Beach and just down from Stradbroke Hotel, Pub Cove is a tidal, lesser-known nook with an intimate, tucked-away feel and a raw coastal charm.

Cylinder beach West 

Few places define Straddie like Cylinder Beach—golden, expansive and framed by headlands. Its natural beauty and open space make it effortlessly impressive.

Deadman’s Beach  

Backed by bushland and edged with dunes and rocky outcrops, Deadman’s is a lesser-known beach at Point Lookout that’s more intimate in scale than others on the island, and strikingly beautiful in its natural detail.

Deadman’s Reserve 

Perched above the beach, Deadman’s Reserve is a grassy, open space with sweeping coastal views - an idyllic spot for intimate ceremonies surrounded by nature.

Nestled behind South Gorge and the renowned Gorge Walk, Headland Park is a sheltered grassy expanse with glimpses of Main Beach.

A dramatic natural amphitheatre where rugged cliffs meet rolling waves. South Gorge is one of Straddie’s most breathtaking coastal settings.
